Elementary School 2010-2011 Supply Lists

As a school we are trying to be conservative with our requests of families with regard to the school supply lists. We understand the difficult economic times are impacting family budgets and appreciate your assistance with helping to provide your student with needed supplies for the coming school year. Please do not hesitate to contact us if it is not within your means to provide supplies for your child.


Kindergarten

4 Boxes of Crayola Crayons (24 pack)

1 Package of Pencils (sharpened)

2 Tissue Boxes

1 Bottle of Anti-Bacterial Hand Soap (not hand sanitizer)

2 Durable 2-Sided Pocket Folders (pockets on bottom, labeled with your child’s name)


First Grade

1 backpack

1 supply box (preferably one that snaps shut and measures 8x5)

2 two-pocket folders (durable)

2 bottles of school glue

3 packs of 24ct crayons

2 marble composition notebooks (no spirals, please)

1 pair of scissors

2 boxes of tissues

Dry erase markers (for student use on individual white boards)

Pencils (sharpened if possible) NO pencil sharpeners please

Please label only the two-pocket folders with your child’s name. The remaining items will be part of the classroom supplies to be shared by all the students in the class.


Second Grade

2 boxes of tissues
1 box of 24 crayons
5 marble composition books
4 packs of number 2 pencils (presharpened)
5 glue sticks
1 scissors (fiskars)
1 hand sanitizer (waterless)
1 zip pouch for supplies
1 pack of loose leaf paper (wide-ruled)
2 folders with bottom-inside horizontal pockets
4 packs of cap erasers
2 highlighters
2 expo dry erase markers, black with fine tip


Third Grade

48 #2 pencils (plain yellow, sharpened, please) Please do not buy pencils made in China because the lead in the pencils is usually broken and they don't sharpen. We wind up throwing them away.

1 pack cap erasers

5 black marble composition notebooks (labeled with student's name)

5 pocket folders: plain, solid colors (NO fancy ones with pictures)
2 green, 1 yellow, 1 blue, and 1 red

1 scissors

1 8- or 16-count box of crayons (NOT 64 count)

1 pack of colored pencils

4 elmer's (purple package) glue stick

3 boxes facial tissue

1 pack loose-leaf paper (wide ruled)

1 (4pk) Dry Erase Markers for student use on individual white boards

1 small zipper pouch for supplies
