What's Happening in Grades 10-12....

• Senior meetings have been completed by Mrs. Candia and Mrs. Nelson.  If you have follow-up questions regarding graduation requirements, college applications, or future plans, please see your counselor! 

• PSAT results should be arriving in the School Counseling Office in mid-December.  All results will be distributed to students prior to Winter break. Parents, please look for them to come home with your student!  Use this link to help you understand your student's scores: http://www.collegeboard.com/html/demo/

• Sophomore meetings will begin in January.  Students will review their transcripts with their counselor and continue with Career Exploration.

• A FAFSA Workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 6:30 pm for parents of seniors in need of assistance in completing the FAFSA form electronically.  A representative from SUNY Ulster's Financial Aid Office will be available to walk through the process with attendees.  The workshop will be held in Room D1 at the High School.  Registration is required.  Please email Kelly Nelson at knelson@highland-k12.org or call the High School Counseling Office at 691-1021 to register.

• Junior meetings will begin in February.  Students meet with their counselor to review their transcripts and discuss future plans, including college.  Juniors attend Ulster County Career Conference on Thursday March 15.  Highland High School will host a College Fair on April 26!
