Keep up the good work in lessons and band!!! LESSONS: The schedule is posted in your child's classroom, my classroom, on the back of their practice slip, and as a download on this page. Please check the lesson schedule for your lesson date/time. Please encourage your child to practice 120 minutes a week. Remember to sign their filled out practice slip before each lesson. Thank you! Congratulations to the following students who were accepted into the 2012 all-county band: Jayda Jackson, Mary Kassel, Cameron Ness, Casey Rosen, Lauren Weiss, Carlie Relyea Musical events we are looking forward to.... 1. SCHOLARSHIP CONCERT: 3/14/12 (snow date 3/26 or 27) ......5th grade band only ....this concert begins at 6:30pm which is a change from past years 2. "Music In Our Schools Month": In March, the 5th grade band students perform daily on the morning announcements 3. All-County Band Festival: March 10, 4:00pm at Ulster County Community College 4. NYSSMA Solo Festival: April 27-28 5. SPRING CONCERT: 5/31/12 @ 6:30pm ...... 4th AND 5th Grade bands and 4-5 Chorus 6. NYSSMA Majors Festival for the 5th grade Select Band: May 30
