The annual budget vote and Board candidate election will be held on Tuesday, May 21. There are three available Board vacancies that expire on June 30, 2024. Petitions for nomination candidates are available at the Central Office between the hours of 8 AM-4 PM, Monday through Friday, except for April 22, which is open until 5 PM. Fashion enthusiasts looking to refresh their wardrobes got the opportunity to do just that during a clothing giveaway event that took place at the High School in February. This unique thrifting experience was the brainchild of Highland students Rylie Klein and Rachel Branda, who organized the giveaway as their civic readiness capstone project. The Junior Senior Prom will be held at the Poughkeepsie Grand on Friday, April 26, from 6-10 PM. Tickets cost $95 each and can be purchased with checks only made out to Highland High School during lunch periods from April 8-12. Don't miss it!
