Principal's Page

  • Dear Web Site Visitor-

Thank you for visiting our web site.  It is an exciting time in our District as we roll out the new web site.  Please stop back often as there will be many new features added in the days and months ahead.

Please take the opportunity to view our school calendar page which is your portal to the many exciting events occurring within our school.  Additionally, we recently added the Cycle Days to the calendar.  This helps families know which letter day of our 6-day cycle corresponds with a particular school day.

Our faculty and staff email lists have been updated so it is easy and convenient to contact your child's teachers via email.  Of course, you can always call the school as well and leave a message with one of our secretaries for your child's teachers at 691-1070 or 691-1060.

Please be reminded to call our absence hotline 691-1074 on days when your child will not be in attendance.  We ask that you leave the name of your child, their teacher's name, and reason for absence.  The phone line accepts messages at all hours of the day and night.  This service provides two purposes; First, it tells us that you child is not going to be in attendance so we can account for all children immediately after all our buses arrive in the morning.  Secondly, your message to us helps us to accurately record why children are absent from school.

We encourage you to take the opportunity to view our News page regularly as well.  Here you will see articles about events that have occurred, upcoming events in which we want you to know about or participate in, and information about school calendar changes.  For instance, this year we will be holding four early-release days for students so that our faculty and staff can participate in professional development opportunities to help strengthen our programs.  Those dates are noted on our building calendar and are highlighted in the News section of the web site.  Other important dates may be highlighted as well such as parent/teacher conferences, school plays, science fairs, and field days.

If you have suggestions for future web site expansions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.  We want to make this web site as user friendly and informative as possible.
