I am sure that you have heard by now that distance learning will end on June 19. New assignments will be posted for this week and next week.
There are some things posted for the week of June 22. One is the optional typing assignment. The other is a "summer packet." The summer packet is completely optional and is only posted if you would like to have something to do over the summer.
I appreciate all of your hard work during remote learning.

If you would like an individidual teacher- student chat on TEAMS email me and we will set up a time. Please be checking and sending email (ie: completed class assignments) through your own school account: FIRSTNAMELASTNAME@highland-k12.org. (through outlook)
E-mails sent from any other email are not linked through the district, and most are going to spam.

Beginning on April 6, I will be moving communication over to Microsoft Teams in addition to email.

Hello Fourth Grade Students and Parents,
I sure do miss you! You have all come so far and grown so much already this year! As you (the students) know, I am not very good at technology, so this is very new to me, and I am scrambling to try to figure it out. We will take this one moment at a time. I am glad we all talked about this during our circle meetings, and knew what could happen.
We need to be patient with each other. I am available via my school email (kuhl@highland-k12.org) between 8AM and 3PM.
I am going to work on setting up Microsoft Teams so I can video conference once a week with individual students. I will email a weekly schedule out to parents with the date and time of the Microsoft Team Meeting. Meetings will start the week of April 6.
Lessons will be given on a weekly basis. They will be posted on the Class Calendar link. Scroll all the way to the bottom for a complete list of weekly assignments. New lessons will be uploaded and posted each Monday.
Please check this website frequently for information.
Thanks for your patience and understanding as I am learning as I go.
Karen Uhl
