We are aware that residents are concerned about privacy and whether those who are counting votes will be able to ascertain how specific residents voted. Please be advised that the District will follow all procedures under the Education Law for canvassing and counting votes. When the election inspectors open the oath envelope containing the voter’s name and address, the ballot is removed unfolded and separated from the oath envelope. When the election inspectors then go to count the ballots, they will have no way of knowing whose ballot they are reviewing.
