Grade 1 Students Travel to Esopus Meadows
Grade 1 students at Highland Elementary School recently enjoyed an adventure to Esopus Meadows Preserve in Ulster Park.
During this exciting field trip, students engaged in lots of hands-on, science-based activities. From seine fishing and studying aquatic macroinvertebrates to navigation challenges and beachcombing, the day was filled with exploration and discovery.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our young Huskies to deepen their understanding of environmental conservation and reflect on the important role the Hudson River plays in our lives!
