Highland’s hallways were filled with literary magic on May 21 as Grade 3 students brought their favorite book characters to life during the annual Book Character Parade.

Dressed as heroes, villains, and everything in between, each student proudly represented a character from a favorite book—the exciting finale to weeks of learning about character development in the classroom.

From wizards and wild things to historical figures and comic book favorites, the parade was a joyful celebration of reading, creativity, and the power of storytelling!
