On April 4, students in Kristen Eckert and Kendra Elliot's Grade 3 class at Highland Elementary School proudly hosted a Solar System Gallery Walk to showcase what they learned as part of their most recent science unit.

For this "stellar" assignment, students used their knowledge and creativity to design models and displays depicting a range of topics, including planets, constellations, and the phases of the moon. Family members, fellow classes, and even Highland Superintendent Joel Freer were invited to tour the gallery and see all of the out-of-this-world projects.

Way to go, young astronomers! What a fantastic way to celebrate learning!
