Students Soar With Excitement During Birds of Prey Assembly
Grade 2 students at Highland Elementary School were soaring with excitement during a visit from wildlife educator Bill Robinson on April 8.
With a few fascinating feathered friends in tow—including a hawk, a vulture, and an owl—Robinson wowed our young Huskies with up-close encounters and fun, fact-filled lessons. He shared how each bird of prey plays a unique role in our environment and why it’s important to protect them.
Students left with a greater appreciation for the world around them. It was another wildly memorable day at Highland!
