Highland High School Brings "Bye Bye Birdie" to Life on Stage

Highland High School (HHS)’s talented cast and dedicated crew recently took to the stage to present the classic musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie in the HHS auditorium.

After months of rehearsals, students delivered two lively performances on March 20 and 21, filled with unforgettable songs, energetic dance numbers, and plenty of laughs.

Leading the cast were Cameren Thibault-Edmonds as Albert Peterson, Vex Pinho-Burns as Rose Alvarez, Noah Thibault-Edmonds as Conrad Birdie, and Ava McNamee as Kim Macafee. Supporting roles included Joshua Benson as Mr. Peterson, Maddox Thibault-Edmonds as Harry Macafee, Lila-Maeve Brown-Theriot as Doris Macafee, Fernando Nieves as Hugo Peabody, and Hope Williams as Ursula Merkle, alongside a talented ensemble cast that helped bring the story to life.

The production showcased not only the students’ talent on stage, but also the hard work and commitment of the crew behind the scenes.
