Highland High School proudly celebrated the achievements of more than 100 graduating seniors during its Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony on June 26. The event was held on the school’s new turf field, providing a vibrant and welcoming setting for this special milestone.
Family members, friends, faculty, and distinguished guests gathered to honor the graduates as they received their diplomas and marked the conclusion of their high school journeys.
The ceremony featured speeches from Valedictorian Sahar Mokal and Salutatorian Elaine Shebey, both of whom reflected on their shared experiences, personal growth, and hopes for the future. Their words offered inspiration and gratitude, capturing the spirit of the Class of 2025.

This year’s guest speaker was 2005 Highland High School alumnus Brian Salvas, Vice President of Operations, Innovation & Execution for CVS. In his keynote address, Salvas shared valuable lessons from his own educational and professional journey and urged graduates to embrace challenges, lead with integrity, and remain open to growth and opportunity.
The ceremony concluded with a proud and joyful celebration of the Class of 2025—an accomplished, resilient, and hopeful group of young people poised to make their mark on the world.
