Highland High School Welcomes New Honor Society Members

Highland High School hosted its 68th annual National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony on May 7, welcoming 29 new members into the prestigious organization founded on the pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

During the ceremony, which was presided over by current NHS officers, each inductee was individually recognized and presented with a certificate before reciting the NHS pledge, reaffirming their commitment to upholding the organization’s values and standards.

Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors awarded to high school students, recognizing those who have demonstrated academic excellence while also making meaningful contributions to their school and community through leadership and service.
