The HCSD Food Service Department will begin meal pick-up service on Wednesday, September 16 from 2:30-5 PM. Going forward, meal pick up will continue to be on Wednesday’s during this time frame.
Meals can be picked up at the Highland High School back parking lot near the cafeteria doors (look for the pop-up tent).
These meals are available FREE OF CHARGE to all children in all households who reside in the HCSD. Per the latest USDA waiver, schools will be allowed to offer these meals free of charge until December 31, 2020 or until funds are depleted.
Each student will receive five complete breakfast meals and five complete lunch meals.
If you have already spoken to the Food Service Department to pre-order your meals, you don’t need to do anything further. If you have not yet reached out and would like to pre-order your child(ren) meals, please call 691-1057 by noon on Monday, September 14. Although no one will be turned away, pre-ordering is the best system to ensure the correct amount of food and beverage can be ordered to fully accommodate everyone. Your cooperation is appreciated!
If transportation is an issue for your family, please contact the Food Service Department at 691-1057 to discuss alternate arrangements.
