Highland Elementary School hosted an unforgettable Turkey Trot on November 15!

Classes “flocked” outside during their specials and together, students and teachers trotted an incredible 846 miles in support of Breakthrough T1D, a global organization that funds research and advocates for people with type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Even more impressive, the school raised more than $2,500 for this worthwhile cause.

Way to go, Huskies! Your hard work and generosity will make a big difference.
